Isaiah House is a project that will serve the Bolderaja
suburb of Riga. It is an area of high poverty inhabited by mostly ethnic
Russian Latvians. The scope of the work is to construct and operate residential flats and 4 retail units. These plans are just the first stage ideas but give a clear idea of how Isaiah House can look and function. All this was supplied to us free of charge by the architects. The next stage is to give the architects the go-ahead to draw up all the final drawings and cost specifications and building plans

This
first plan shows a 3D view of the buildings. The block at the back of the
land will house 12 flats and the one in the front 8 flats and 4 retail
shop units
The plan below shows the outline of the plot. The main road passes the front of the premises where space is allocated for the 4 retail units. These retail units will be used to create employment and therefore enable the families to integrate into their community.
This third plan shows where the plot sits in relationship to the surrounding land. We have been informed that the surrounding land has now been purchased by developers for housing and yachting and boating berths. Therefore the shop units within Isaiah House are ideally suited to serve this community thus creating employment.
